First I would like to give you a quick update on the schedule for the next posts. So today I am continuing the adage sequence with Arabesque Part 1. For this I am using a video provided by the Maple Conservatory of dance, I do not own credits to the video, but have found it quite helpful. It helped me to learn how to correctly use my hip in arabesque several years ago. I added all the text and notes you will see in the video though. Hope very much you will find this helpful (!!!) I will be explaining more about Arabesque, this is just Part 1.
After the Arabesque series I will cover a few more basic leg lifts, once completing the adage series (for now), then I will post a few inspiring foot flexibility stories from amazing dancers, that I have received. After that I will continue with technique posts and during that time work on a correct posture series covering different postural problems such as anterior pelvic tilt and lordosis. I do want to do it thoroughly, so it could take a few weeks. I have already learned a lot over the years, but still have a lot to learn and want that you get the best material and information as possible before posting it. Due to what has happened the past weeks I am delayed in the other projects and the website, but I am doing my best to get things started as soon as possible. Thanks for being so patient!!! Hope this post helps!
