✌🏼✌🏼Four classes later and I almost thought we weren’t going to make it. Nothing like taking a relaxing vacation and turning it upside down into complete beast mode..(I promise I will relax now).
By the time we made it to Barry’s I didn’t know if my body could make it through another minute, let alone a full hour but when you’re in that red room you kind of just have to let all reservations go and dive right in.
Before today I didn’t think a Barry’s class could ever compare to the complete insanity and difficulty of one with @jaycopley but it turns out that @astrid_swan is just as fierce and cut throat. Talk about pushing yourself to your limits...there is officially no gas left in this tank.😅

-What a crazy ass week! 😴 This week has been incredibly demanding, both physically and emotionally and there has been a couple of moments I’ve wanted to just pack it in and quit. Ive had to remind myself I’m only human and it’s so so normal to have those moments of self doubt where you question what you want. But now I’m going into next week with confidence, drive, knowing exactly where I wanna be and with such a sick team of people around me. The love in my circle is SO real!!🙏🏼💯-
Blessed to have found someone just as into fitness as myself abroad. It was VERY scary coming to a new place without knowing really anyone, and having to find a gym on my own. Thankfully this crazy girl and I bonded over David Yurman & squatting 😂 Missing my workout partner @sydneyfuntal at home, but I know you’re KILLING IT. Love both of my gym buds ❤️❤️ •••• oh and not to brag about my peeps or anything BUT Jordi has lost over 40 pounds & Syd lost over 20!! SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I kept hearing that Barry’s is the absolute best body-improving, calorie-depleting workout. So you know, sold. I wanted to try it. A late night text yesterday from my fellow mama of twins @stillfitzy informing we were ON for today’s 7:30 left me powerless to say no.I entered the studio, checked in with an insanely hot dude with a 40 pack and arms the size of a Malm 6-drawer Ikea dresser. Intervals on the treadmill, hill sprints, incline. As a runner who talks about doing tempo runs but never does them, this was great. The floor work was good too, but I could’ve used some corrections and some lighter weights. The insanely hot trainer swore so much my mama ears wanted to wash out his mouth with soap. That is if you could catch what he said amidst Missy Elliot and other amazing gangster rap telling me to “put my thing down flip it and reverse it”.. to every bead of sweat.I work so much harder when I am doing so under duress, fear, or the watchful eye of intimidation. However, there is a vibe of intensity that I drank up.
