Happy hump day friends 💖
I remember when I was struggling with my eating disorder, one of my phys ed teachers told me it was important to be strong. I didn’t understand this concept. I didn’t know what it felt like to be strong. It’s as if I had resistance to this very idea. I preferred running over any other activity we did in that class.
Eventually I had to stop running because of an injury.
Now, as I combine weight training with yoga, hiking, and everything else that I do I can finally feel it. I can feel the shift in my posture. To truly hold myself, to embody, and embrace myself.
I just started weight training again about 8 months ago after taking more than a year off from doing anything other than yoga.
So today I thought I’d share a workout with you. As always, I follow what feels good which means I don’t come with a plan. Occasionally I look at other accounts for inspiration to move my body in different ways.
