While in Sequoia National Park I learned that adversity is not only beneficial but necessary. Sequoia trees are the largest trees in the world (when measured by sheer mass). And unlike most trees in the world a Sequoia can only grow if there is shallow soil, little water, and forest fires. FIRE. So if you're struggling don't sweat it. You're probably destined to be a giant. Keep pushing, growing and striving. One day you will look down and realize just how far you've come.
The sun was shining when I got home so I was stoked for my run! Note to self: the sun is a deceptive little trickster. I’m still trying to warm up!! I think I need to move to California where my runs would involve warmth and these views ☀️🌊 Anyone with me?
Love this shot of our new 6 oz. jars that our friends at @theindiecollectivemorrobay captured. If you are ever in the Morro Bay area make sure to stop by and check out our candles at this cute little waterfront shop! #morrobayca#centralcoast#morrorock
