My biggest successes and my biggest opportunities have all been things I've taken chances on. Things I was adding up all the reasons why I shouldn't or why I can't or why it would go wrong.
The best thing I have done is gotten excited about the prospect, thrown my hands in the air and said "I can't control everything, I just hope it works."
I'll tell you what. It's a lot less stress and a lot less hassle... the best decisions I have made to date.

Last week we received the news that 2 Gilchrist Sheriff Deputies were killed The news was very unsettling to everyone. I did not know the deputies but I have several co workers who did. Their funerals were yesterday. Later in the night, we heard 2 Dallas officers were shot. Please keep law enforcement in your prayers. Thank @local_fl for posting this. #Repost @local_fl with @get_repost

When I was 8 years old, I was pulled over by law enforcement for the first time.
It was a Gilchrist County Sheriff Officer....
I remember being scared to death I was going to jail, and he was scared to death for the rest of the world with an 8 year old driving!!! Lol
I grew up on the back roads, that officer followed me home that day and told my dad a few “kind” words about me driving!! Lol my dads reply “how else will she learn to drive?” This community has provided me with so many life lessons...my first heartbreak, my first rodeo, my first tragedy, my first love, my first job, it’s where I learned who Jesus is, it’s where I learned to swim, it’s where I learned “hard work builds character” it’s where I’ve been loved by so many, and prayed for by even more...
I didn’t personally know these two officers, but I personally know this community, and even though I’m not as involved as I once was, it’s still the community who raised me (along with all your wonderful Dixie and hatch folks)
It’s been a week of heartache, but I have seen so much resilience in this tiny town...I’m thankful to every single person who serves this community and surrounding areas! To all of you in law enforcement, first responders, etc thank you so much, even through heart break of losing two brothers you still stand and serve.
I pray this video will touch someone and show everyone else what a small town heart beat looks like.
Please feel free to share.
