My fur baby, Pumpkin, who is a 9 year old Victorian Bulldog 🐾was diagnosed with stage 4A Lymphoma cancer back in December. We found an amazing Oncologist, Dr. Tiffany Leach of Randhurst Animal Hospital in Mount Prospect, IL. It is over an hour drive for us, and just like humans; chemo, and going to the Dr. is exhausting. So part of Pumpkin's Chemotherapy, and follow up routine was to always go to Chick-fil-A after she saw her Oncologist, to reward her for being such a good girl, and for being so brave!
We always go to the @chickfila in Mount Prospect, IL. just down the street from @randhurstanimalhospital
Yesterday was her LAST Chemotherapy treatment for her Lymphoma! 😁 She gobbled up her grilled chicken tender kids meal, with her waffle fries, and vanilla ice cream as always 😀 and we wanted to get a picture to commemorate her amazing accomplishment!
Her lymph nodes have shrunk down and stayed the same in size, her liver looks great, and her blood counts are all excellent!! We will be going in once a month for check ups so our chicky visits will not be as often but she will still be there for her kids meal every month!! Michael has greeted us at the drive thru window for a lot of our Saturday appointments and he is always so nice and pleasant! I told him why we were there on Saturday and he wished us the best, and told us how cute Miss Pumpkin was and it just made the day even better!
