It's #WomenWhoCarryWednesday and this week we are featuring Monica from @pinotandpistols
Monica is a strong, self-reliant woman in all areas of her life, and her self-defense is no exception. She started carrying in January of this year after taking quite a bit of time to consider how she wanted to protect herself, learning, taking shooting lessons, and figuring out what the best gun was for her. Now that she has her permit and gun, she prioritizes training and learning as much as she can. She gets to the range once or twice a month, dry fire practices at home several times a week, and signs up for classes at a local range when her schedule allows. Monica also spends quite a bit of time interacting with the concealed carry and 2A community via Instagram - it has been an awesome way to ask questions, learn how more experienced people do things, and hopefully encourages and inspires others.
Monica carries a @glockinc 43, and typically carries appendix, though she does experiment with some other carry positions, to open up to more options. She rotates through a few holsters, and her favorites at the moment are her @stealthgearusa ventcore AIWB and her @anrdesignllc master blaster w/ claw.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I typically keep my politics off my page. But, that wouldn’t be me. I like to express myself and I’m so sick of seeing so much domestic Anti-American rhetoric. So love me or hate me, this is me. This sums up how I feel about our great country. #MAGA#fuckantifa#american#draintheswamp#california#liberty#donttreadonme @dc_draino @the_typical_liberal @realdonaldtrump @jenniehx @buildingupashes @miss_j3nny_ @elahhearn
We had @cobalt.kinetics down at the shop today showing us their new Twenty-Seven series rifles. Skylar had the Hunter and Ranger for us to check out and they are impressive! Both of these rifles are featureless and 100% compliant for all of us in California. Keep your eyes open for our first Cobalt rifle to arrive in the next couple weeks.
Twenty-Seven is a modern approach to the traditional semi-automatic rifle. The Twenty-Seven delivers the familiar feel of a classic hunting rifle, melded with the utility and versatility of the modern sporting rifle. The unique lower receiver and stock have been carefully designed to deliver ideal comfort and handling while avoiding the legal restrictions associated with other semi-automatic rifles. At only 5.5 inches tall from the bottom of the grip to the top of the optic mount, the Twenty-Seven fits in conventional gun cases and scabbards. The unique adaptable stock allows length of pull, drop, and cheek height to be configured to fit any shooter. The initial release of the Twenty-Seven offers four models, each in 2 trim levels to suit all types of shooting sports and applications.
