Artemis by Andy Weir
Read January 16, 2018
Sci fi has never been my cup of tea but I think it's starting to be one. This book was so entertaining and just amazing. I used audiobook on this one and it was just so good. I loved everything and I'm ready for more books by Andy Weir. 😍

Twice a year, I go to Bookfest. It's a week-long book fair full of second-hand beauties just waiting to be read. The first one of 2018 starts this Saturday, so I've rearranged my shelves and decided to give some books a new home. Not because I haven't loved reading (most of) them, I have, but because I have a limited amount of space and I think books should be read by everyone!
Also - I was tagged by the lovely @ampersand_reads to do the #7bookishsins tag so here goes: 🤑GREED (a book you refuse to lend)- My copy of A Tale of Two Cities. My husband bought it for me from a bookshop in Oxford that no longer exists. It's leather-bound and smells like home. 🍩GLUTTONY (a book you devoured) - Girl Out Of Water. It's the first YA novel I think I've read in about 10+ years and I loved every single second of it. I want a sequel.
😴SLOTH (a book sitting unread on your shelf) - The Seventh Sanctuary by Daniel Easterman. I bought it at a second-hand book fair last year and I still haven't gotten round to reading it. It's on my list for this year.
💃LUST (a book boxed set) - Harry Potter. Always.
😠WRATH (a disappointing book) - Silver Bay by JoJo Moyes. I adored Me Before You and Me After You. I cried, sobbed even. But I just couldn't get into this one. I gave it a good shot, but I still wasn't reaching for it even when I was half-through. The only time I didn't finish a book last year - which makes me very sad.
😒 ENVY (a book you'd like to live in) - I am so torn with this. Either The Famous Five, Harry Potter or The Lord Of The Rings (I want to visit Rivendell!)
😍PRIDE (prettiest book you own) - My Penguin Clothbound copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I want the whole set!
QOTD: What is your favorite genre to read?
I have always loved fantasy! And of course with some romance as well...😏😍❤️ I need book recommendations! If you have one do comment them down! I might add your recommendations to my TBR pile.🙊😉
