Victoria Street: Edinburgh’s ‘most photographed street’, and also supposedly the inspiration for Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter books. Exeter also makes the same claim, in regards to Gandy Street, as J.K Rowling studied in the city. Both cities have run with the idea, with Harry Potter themed establishments on both streets. Though to my eye, Gandy Street has more of a Diagon Alley vibe. For those who’ve been to both cities, what do you think?
