Currently I've swapped out Gym/Heavy Lifting for lower-intensity movements such as Yoga, Core Work & Stretching🧘🏽♀️ I made this choice to ensure that I'm not over-exerting myself and am ALLOWING my body to rest and slowly heal itself.
I've noticed that I feel so much more energised and I'm sleeping much better at night 🙏🏽😴 It just goes to show how IMPORTANT it is to listen to your body and take REST DAYS/TIME OFF when you need to!
Because I can do most of my workouts at home now, I've pretty much adopted by @vaultactive Gym Wear as my PYJAMAS 🙈👚
@Vaultactive's stuff is so comfortable, I never want to change out of it!! So I usually just wear my leggings to sleep and as soon as I wake up in the morning, I'm ready to JUMP RIGHT INTO a Yoga Sequence which gets my blood flowing and my mind ready for the day ahead.
I loveee that the leggings also don't restrict any of my movements 🤸🏽♀️
Other things I do the night before, to save time in the morning include:
1. Preparing my pre-workout meal 🥘 & @ladyboss post-workout Protein Shake 🥤🍫
2. Ensuring my drink bottle is FULL & my gym-bag is packed 🛍
3. Laying out the outfit I plan to wear (bonus points if its colour coordinated!) 👗👡👛
