Anyone remember the Rice Krispie Treat cereal??? Not just Rice Krispies, but TREAT??? I could eat three bowls in one sitting....

Well this brings me back... 1. 1 scoop birthday cake flavor whey isolate...I’m loving Allmax rn
2. 1c ish unsweetened almond milk
3. 1 3sec long squirt of SF syrup
4. 1/2tsp Maca powder(my secret ingredient, explained below)
5. 2 grinds of pink Himalayan salt, not that white table ish
6. Fill the little blender guy up all the way with ice
7. Blend until your blender is allllmosssst at it’s breaking point
Pour into bowl and add toppings, I add caramel rice cakes(also Rice Krispie treat cereal remake tip) and 1 tbsp almond butter because that’s all I get these days but I’m not mad at all about it cause it tastes like I’m 8 again😩😩😩 ***maca powder has so many benefits that I love and need in my life including stamina and improved energy, enhancing mood and memory, balancing hormone levels and is high in antioxidants, vitamin C, copper and iron.
I love maca root, but have a hard time finding ways to eat it because it does not have the best consistency (the worst in oatmea🤮) and tastes like malt. I HATE malt. Whoppers make me vomit. Which is the only candy I will ever say no to. BUT used in my ice cream it thickens it and adds to the flavor in a way that I can’t explain. Just know I’m happy and want you to try it too 😃
Does this sound familiar to you? You’ve been eating very heatlhy and ’clean’ foods for a while. One day you’re craving a donut and you decide to get one because it’s been a long time since you had something ’not so healthy’. But then you get all these thoughts coming to your head: ”A donut has approximately 500 calories but if it’s a jelly filled donut it probably has about 600 calories.. will it make me fat?” ” should I just get something healthy instead?” and so on.. Then you start overthink the whole situation and feel quilty about the donut even before you’ve actually got one. And before you know it, you’ve spent so much time thinking about getting a simple 🍩.

I had all these cool restaurants and cafes I wanted to try but when I was thinking of going somewhere, these doubting thoughts came to my mind. ”Maybe you should just get a salad instead of a donut so you don’t eat so much crap on your trip and come back as a blob.” A year ago I would’ve probably chosen the salad. But now.. well you can see which one I chose. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀
When did eating a donut become so hard? And why do we need to think twice or thrice or even ten times before we get a donut? The more you feed the tiger, the bigger it gets. So when you have those thoughts, don’t stay even a second listening to them. Put your shoes on, go and get that f’n donut. Enjoy every bit of it and don’t feel quilty about it. I know, easier said than done but the more you do it, the easier it gets. And eventually, those thoughts will lose their powers and they’ll go away.
