YA GIRL IS BACK! Meal Prep Monday is now a thing, as I managed to sneak it in while my daughter was asleep. Photo does not do this deliciousness justice!
Breakfast: frozen berries, peaches and mint with chobani. Usually in a smoothie.
Snack: 1 piece of gluten free 6 seed bread w natural peanut butter.
Snack: chunks of cherry tomato and feta cornbread. I'm seriously a cornbread addict! It's made with chobani which I think is why I love it so much.
Snack: carrots, grapes and 30g cheese.
Lunch: inspired by the amazing @christinaarandall I made her Thai Pineapple Fried Rice. I'm taking #meatlessmonday and turning it into #meatlesslunchtime
Dinners: not pictured. Dinner is my low carb meal of the day. Basically just meat w green vegetables. That's it. Boring and something I prefer to make each night.
Disclaimer: I don't eat to a specific diet or follow rules per say. I try to confidently say that what I am eating is a good choice but I know that sounds vague. So I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm still figuring things out and trying to find what works for me ☺️
#springtobalance day 1: tree pose
I decided to take it outdoor for a change. Not anywhere too far but right below my apartment. Lol. I chose tree pose with a side bend, & I chose to do it between two bald trees. Is that cliché? Haha!
You wouldn’t believe how long it took me to learn to balance in tree pose. Hence I’m not going to tell u. Hahahaha! It was a loooooooonnnnnggggg process is all I’m going to say.
I started yoga with zero sense for balance. Hence this challenge hits close to heart. Fortunately, my balance has improved gradually overtime and especially more so the last couple of time. I clearly remember that a teacher tried to help me into king dancer pose sometime last year, though my hand could touch my foot, I couldn’t balance on my own, not even for a split nano second.
