This morning, we woke up at sunrise and had an amazing breakfast on the patio, then left beautiful Maui to fly (a quick 30 minutes) over to Kona! A huge thank you to @fairmontkealani for hosting us and giving me the most pampered treatement I’ve ever received in my life! The flight over was breathtaking, and now two more days of hangin out with rad people on a crazy beautiful island 🌴 when will I wake up? •
I thought you had to be ridiculously flexible to be healthy. You don't. Just flexible enough. In fact, too much flexibility can increase risk of injury. Also, I learned that static stretches before a workout can increase injury. Only do dynamic stretches before a workout and static after. Dynamic means movement based such as arm circles or high knees. No hamstring stretch holds before working out.
