Did some sowing this week for everything that needs to be done 8 weeks before the last frost date. Mountain weather can be unpredictable. Last season it snowed after Mother's Day (our frost date) so I'm happy to keep stuff indoors a bit longer this year.
We transplanted some of the Roma and Sweetie tomato seedlings into bigger pots today.
As we discussed earlier, small pots are good for seedling to start with, but if you leave them in there forever, they will eventually run out of space to grown and when they exhaust all the nutrients in the soil, they'll die.
We moved the tomato plants into bigger pots on their own full of fresh soil so they'll have lots of space to grown their roots and everything else.
