✨Fitness should be something that is incorporated into your lifestyle.
It should never be something you have to revolve your lifestyle around✨
Too much of anything is never healthy.
It's incredible to have passion for something
but it's something else if it grows to being an obsession that affects a healthy life balance.
I was talking with @iamtaylorsimpson yesterday and she asked me how I was feeling not being on prep anymore.
While I told her that I honestly felt great and that I had so much less stress in my life,
I also told her that I noticed the biggest transition I felt challenged with was going from hitting the gym every day, sometimes even doing 2 a days, to NOT going to the gym that often.
My new focus, yes, is to have a healthy "off season" with mindfullness and balance and gaining lean mass.
But that doesn't mean I NEED to be in the gym every day in order to feel accomplished.
I love the gym and I love training.
I love training my back, my shoulders, my glutes
I'm still learning to love training chest.
I can't wait to increase my strength and hit new compound lift PRs.
But that doesn't mean I HAVE to put those things as priorities before everything else in my lifestyle.
For instance, this week was the first time where I didn't go to the gym for 2 days and felt totally okay with it.
And this holiday weekend, I will train because I WANT to.
Not because I feel that I HAVE to.
Remember that this lifestyle is all about IMPROVING YOURSELF.
PS IM FINALLY ON TEAM iPHONE 8PLUS AND IDK HOW I LIVED LIFE WITHOUT IT 😭🙌🏼🙈✨
