This Healthy Crumble with Raspberries & Apple will not only make your taste buds sing but it also contains healthy ingredients. The white flour and sugar were substituted to make it a healthy treat. Other fruits such as apricots, peaches or pear are delicious alternatives to raspberries.
Preparation 10 mins/ Cooking time 30 mins
1 apple, peeled and cut into small pieces
175 wholemeal spelt flour
65g, cold butter, diced
25g ground almonds
80-90ml maple syrup, depending on how sweet the berries/fruits are
Preaheat the oven to 180c /Gas 4, Grease the baking dish butter and arrange raspberries and apple in the bottom of it. To make the topping, put the flour in a bowl, add diced butter rub into flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add ground almonds and maple syrup. Mix well. Cover the fruits with crumble topping and bake for 30 mins until the topping turns slightly brown. If you have sweet tooth, you could serve it with some vanilla ice cream or custard.

a "matcha" made in heaven .. see what I did there 😋. Dad jokes aside the original Matcha Cheesecake created a few years back has had a revamp. Pairing the flavours of matcha and vanilla with the signature drizzle of home made dark chocolate 💚! It's a super healthy take on what is usually a pretty calorie heavy dessert 🍰. Not only is it on the lighter side, it does not rely on a KILO of cashews, almonds etc like other no bake raw slices.
So it's budget friendly to whip up, gluten free and has a snazzy vegan friendly option 🐮 !
