Is it True that Time heals all wounds.?🥀____________________________________________________"Time in itself—unlucky for us—does not heal all wounds. ... The passage of time may take the edge off of acute pain, but it does not heal pain. On the other hand, time can be used well for healing purposes. When time is used well, in terms of healing wounds, then it is because we do something specific with and within it."
Our world-traveling son (@c3bar) returned home to our little mountain nest last night, and oh-my-land is this mama bird glad to have him home.
Last night was a blur of happy emotion and I basked in the simple satisfaction of being surrounded by my family while listening to the melody of their voices punctuated by staccato bursts of delighted laughter.
We started this morning off with the happy news that school had been cancelled due to “hazardous conditions”. So we slept in a couple extra hours and then we all listened to Cedar tell some of his adventures over coffee.
It’s funny, while he was gone we ached for news and had so many questions about where he was and what he was doing. Now that he’s home many of those wonders and worries have evaporated and we are content with letting the stories unfold as they may.
A journey like his will take a lifetime of telling, and I can just imagine talking with Cedar years from now and him saying something like, “There was this time when I was in Marrakech and I met this girl- you won’t believe what happened...” and a whole new-old story of his adventures will be told.
Welcome home Ceeds. I can’t wait to watch your next adventure unfold. 🌲🐻🍀
