Sunsets have been hard to find on this trip. Between the trees in the highland and the constant clouds on the horizon, subset usually adds a little color to the sky and then quickly fades to nothing. Lovina is where we have found our best sunsets, a sleepy little town on North Bali, not too close to anything. We spent two nights here and found a funky place to eat, a treehouse, and a pretty sweet dive spot.
We found a company that would take Anna diving, even though she isnt certified like me. It turned into an awesome dive with underwater cliffs and a nice variety of fish off the shore of Menjangan Island, an uninhabited nature conservatory. The fish were mostly small and a lot of the coral, especially in the shallows was dead. But it was still nice to share that other world with Anna. No underwater camera, so no dive pics. Sorry! 🚢
The Peace Palace is an international law administrative building in The Hague, the Netherlands. It houses the International Court of Justice (which is the principal judicial body of the United Nations), and the Permanent Court of Arbitration. Partially funded by steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, the building opened in 1913 and houses these important courts still today.
