It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on here so I figured I would shoot out a little life update. ——
I’ve been in Hawaii a little over 2 weeks now. I originally thought this was gonna be a sweet work vacation in which I’d work and then get to enjoy the island....and I couldn’t have had that more wrong. By far this was one of the toughest times I’ve had with the company I work for. Of course the last 2 weeks I work for a company had to be the hardest lol. ——
Luckily @toriwxvx flew in yesterday and now we are finally getting to enjoy the island. Today we drove up to turtle bay which was exactly what I had expected Hawaii to look like. Spending 2 weeks working non stop and only being in Waikiki and Honolulu was really starting to burn me out. ——
I appreciate @toriwxvx for constantly breaking me out of my comfort zone. She made me take this photo and I’m stoked about it. I threw up a “Shaka” as I’ve learned a lot about it since I’ve been on the island. The “Shaka” is most commonly known as the “hang loose” symbol and is meant to convey the aloha spirit. So aloha and mahalo dudes. ——
'A spot frequented by denizens of Budapest in the Buda hills, Normafa is known for its panoramic scenery and fresh air. It is located on Svábhegy and is close to Jánoshegy, the highest point in Budapest.
The name is derived from the name of a tree, the "Norma tree." Traditionally the beech tree was planted by King Matthias Corvinus in the 15th century. The name stuck when performers from the Hungarian National Theater visited it, where they performed Vincenzo Bellini's Norma.'
