"Henry's Crime" from the year 2010
(108 minutes, romantic comedy)
After serving time for a crime he did not commit, Henry conspires with his former cellmate to rob a bank for real. While infiltrating the nearly theatre, he falls in love with an actress...
I only watched with movie because Keanu Reeves is in it and I was bored. This film didn't manage to make me less bored in the slightest.
I believe the plot is fairly interesting and could have worked. But instead of concentrating on the love story, they should have shown more of the actual heist.
I also thought that Keanu Reeves and Vera Farmiga, who played Henry's love interest Julie, had no chemistry. This made their scenes together either boring or cringy.
I did however like James Caan as Henry's former cellmate Max. He seemed like the only real person and his scenes were at least not boring.
Another thing I did like was to see Henry performing in a play. For some reason I enjoyed the practicing scenes. Maybe because Julie was yelled at in them. I didn't like her all the way through the movie, which made being invested in the plot or the story line difficult.
To me this film also felt like a 1990s or early 2000s movie, even though it was released in 2010.
All in all, I would only recommended this movie who want to see Keanu Reeves perform in a classic theatre play for a few scenes and people who don't mind romantic scenes that are a bit cringy.
So stoked to introduce you to our #1 Crush Collection inspired by one of our fave cult teen dramas #Jawbreaker featuring four new prints—Mon Cherry, Country Club, Cat Lady and Candy Stripe—and two solids—Mean and Raven. We’ve watched this cast of unapologetic movie vixens so many times and decided to come up with our own sultry mix of what we thought each might wear by the beach. Collection drops oh so soon and it’s gonna be to die for. See you this summer #numberonecrush ⚡️⚡️
Nos âmes la nuit (Our Souls At Night)
🎥 Ritesh Batra
👥 Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, etc...

I'm sure most of you probably don't watch Archer. But if you did catch the latest episode of Archer: Danger Island on May 16th, I just want to give props to the cartoonists because the Russian Polikarpov I-15 bi-plane being flown by Archer, and the Messerschmitt BF-109G, being flown by his arch nemesis Luftwaffe pilot Gunter Ziegler, voiced by German comedian Flula Borg, of “Jennifer Is A Party Pooper” fame, were spot on - except that the 'G' model of the '109 only flew in 1942, and should have been an 'E' model at best. This show is so funny and I love the various iterations it has gone through over the years. The character's personalities remain, but who the characters are, huh, kind of remain the same too :). The award winning Archer was created by Adam Reed and the main character is voiced by H. Jon Benjamin (of Bob's Burgers fame), and appears on FXP in the United States, and on Teletoon here in Canada. Warning - it really is adult themed, so don't plan on watching it with the kids. The original premise of the show revolved around Archer and his co-workers at the 'International Secret Intelligence Service' (ISIS) dealing with, well, you name it. Obviously, in light of current events, that name had to go, and go it did; with the team now working for the Figgis Agency. We've been taken on a couple of different journeys; Archer Vice, a blatant but hilarious rip-off of Miami Vice, and then Archer Dreamland, where our hero is playing a 'Sam Spade' type of character - you youngsters will have to Google who that was :), and now Archer: Danger Island, a kind of Casablanca theme (young people Google Rick's Cafe Americain) :). The show's producer has indicated that it would end after the 10th season, but as Pam Poovey (voiced by Amber Nash) would say, 'Holy s*** snacks!', say it isn't so!!! #HalifaxAuthor#Halifax#archer#cartoon#hjonbenjamin#ambernash#pampoovey#lanakane#fx#fxp#comedychannel#aishatyler#jessicawalter#chrisparnell#judygreer#luckyyates#adamreed#writer#amwriting#author#daniellloydlittle#figgisagency#dangerisland#luftwaffe
