Cinnamon pecan butter. I’ve had several people ask how I make pecan butter, so here it is. Pecan is definitely my favorite but butter, I love it plain but I like it even better with cinnamon. I make approximately 1 lb at a time roughly 3-4 cups. .
Spread on baking sheet and roast at 350 for 9-15 minutes. I like about 11 minutes. The longer you roast the thinner and more oily the butter. Let cool completely. .
Hold out a handful for chopping (for crunchy) add nuts to blender and blend until desired smoothness. I blend on 10 instead of high because I like a little resistance. Blending on high will make a very smooth butter. .
Chop or put held out nuts through nut mill and stir into butter. I’ve also done this part with roasted hazelnuts or almonds. Also if you want super crunchy, consider roasting this portion an extra 5 minutes. .
Add cinnamon, I do 2 tbsp for 1 lb, you can add before or after blending, it stirs in very easily and you may like more or less than me. I’ve done up to 4 tbsp before for a super intense flavor. .
You can also add other flavors like chip coconut, banana chips, cacao nibs. Pretty much anything goes. .
