Coaches, you are your most important client.
I receive many questions from people on how do they choose the right coach for themselves. I would share many many criteria of what makes a great coach and what they should evaluate to know if the coach is right for them. But one thing struck me above all and that is “How much is the coach growing him or herself?”. The biggest most important client a coach should serve should be himself.
The coach needs to constantly be growing and improving himself. And there are some question you can ask to know that.
Who is/are their coach?
Who is/are other coaches that they learn/look up to? (if the first and only name is Tony Robbins, then be aware ;)). How much have they spent from their own pocket in developing their own skills and competencies as a coach?
What programs have the coach enrolled into?
What is their personal story and experiences in relation to your goals and vision?
Coaches, remember, you cannot create transformation in clients if you’re not constantly transforming!
