Good morning! I'm feeling motivated and energized today. Hope you all are enjoying your weekend💋😎
PS The last time I wore my WuTang shirt in NY, some random guy challenged me to name all the members 😫😂
PART TWO:WAYS TO PREVENT HAIR BREAKAGE
📌Use Low Maintenance Hairstyles As Much As Possible
📌Try to break the habit of restyling your hair everyday. I know this can be a bit difficult at first but if you are a serial stylist then perhaps start by trying to find ways to maintain your hairstyle for the next day and only restyling every other day, believe me your hair will reward you with growth!
📌Step Away From The COMB!
This is really difficult to do in the beginning but as time goes on I promise it will get easier. Combing and brushing your hair regularly will cause your hair to break there are no two ways about it. I know a lot of naturals still like to use combs and I’m not saying that you have to completely stop but you do have to minimise the use of these tools. If you can learn how to finger detangle that would be a huge benefit to you. it takes little getting used to at first but once you’ve done it a few times you will get better and know how to manage your hair.
📌Everyone Needs A Trim
A lot of people fail to use this step because they feel it will be like going backwards because they are cutting off some of the length. Whilst this is true to some degree it is also true that regularly trimming your hair gets rid of split ends and keeps your hair healthy. This is not to say that you have to trim your hair every month. I like to trim mine once every 8-12 months. I haven’t found the need to trim more often than this because my hairstyles are usually very low maintenance.
