New record for splat points this morning and a much better heart rate than when I started @orangetheory so I rewarded myself with a breakfast smoothie! Now just working toward 650+ calories in a workout! #preworkworkout#orangetheoryfitness
Early morning running! I haven’t gotten up to run before school all year. It felt so good to be out. Managed 5.2miles 😊 felt good. Tried to maintain 8 and a half minute miles. Now I need to find the energy for work 😬 #run#runner#running#morningrun#preworkworkout#pacing
Last week, life got in the way of the gym. Between work, friends, recovering from being sick, dog mom-ing, and my accident, I wasn’t finishing out BBG Week 7. And this week? BBG isn’t happening either 🤭
Does that mean I’m not going to the gym at all? Hell no! [As I write this from the arc trainer] It just means that I know my body won’t do well with all the jumping around that BBG requires me to do.
So what am I going to do? Cardio and some lifting! I’m going to focus on working the parts of my body that aren’t hurting from my accident. And I’m going to make sure to listen to my body when it says to stop ✋🏼 Hoping I’ll be back to BBG next week! 🙏🏼
