Last night & this morning's routine
This routine is meant to smooth out texture, shrink pore size, clear acne, brighten & keep moisturized without any heaviness. Woke up this morning with my skin super smooth. However this routine is too mattifying because of the skinscreen. Would be better for hotter summer days. I feel dry atm & want to add a few more layers on toner or essence maybe even a cream.
I'm still uncomfortable with the bifidalacto & galactony toner a bit itchy from it. My skin is really matte & soft.

SLEEP. You love it. You need it. But you can’t get enough of it. Am I right?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sleep is such an essential part to our physical and mental health. It’s our reset for the day. A time for our brain and body to rest and recharge. Often times, as mamas with little kiddos, sleep is broken up and far too short. I know I can be a grump when I am getting poor sleep consistently. While we can’t always increase our sleeping hours, because ummmm….babies, we can be proactive to make those few hours count. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are a few ways I have used to make my few hours of of alloted “sleep time” count.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Turn the bluelight on my phone down or off. It’s encouraged to not use your phone to devices after a certain hour, but let’s be real. That is about the only time I get some days to read my Bible (app on my phone).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Get into a bedtime routine. Mine is literally pumping, washing pump supplies, wash my face, brush my teeth, put on some essential oils and fall into bed (with the occasional reading my Bible app). Getting your body into a routine of when you normally power down and even when you get up can help you get some good quality rest.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. PEE. Because nothing is worse than falling asleep and then waking up a few minutes later to run to the bathroom 🤦🏽♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Get a good pillow for your head and try one for in between your knees. The knee pillow was a game changer for lying comfortably in bed⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’ve been on a mindfulness journey, for a few months now. I used to be the person who’d stress about everything. I found it difficult to be still, to be present. If I wasn’t thinking about the past, I was feeling anxious about the future. It was almost like I was running on autopilot for many years and suddenly woke up. I was so concerned with my future, that I forgot to live in the present.Things like these happen because we stop paying attention.Practicing mindfulness can change that. The thing about mindfulness though, is that it takes effort. It also isn’t easy at first, especially when you don’t know how to be still and MANY of us, don’t anymore.🌸Concentrating on your breathing is one of the best ways to connect yourself to present moment and become more aware of what’s happening around you. Focus your attention on breathing; the inhale and the exhale. If you find yourself in a stressful situation or feel yourself feeling overwhelmed take a deep breath and inhale.🌸DON’T JUDGE YOUR THOUGHTS! Very often, when trying to be more mindful, you might find yourself getting distracted by an anxious thought. You start to notice just how many things you worry about. You then start worrying about the fact that you’re worrying, so you end up feeling anxious about feeling anxious. Anxious mind loves distraction.Turn off your TV, phone, put your laptop away and spend time in complete stillness & silence.🌸UNI-TASK! When you try to do several things at once, you end up being less efficient and make things complicated.
🌼Most of the time, to us, present moment seems quite ordinary. We often seek to escape that moment, whether it be going through our phone while eating dinner or not paying attention when someone is trying to have a conversation with us. I think that this is exactly what makes this present moment extraordinary; we don’t get to just be, we’re always busy doing other things. When you train yourself to actually feel that sunshine on your skin when you’re going for a walk, when you actually look into the eyes of someone close you’re talking to and realize how good it feels to be around them, you’ll see that there’s some magic hidden in those ordinary moments.🌼
