I hope I’ve never given the impression I’m above the treadmill. I’m not. It’s dull and pretty much zero fun, but it has something my beloved Lake Erie trails don’t: hills, specifically a 3% decline that’s going to help my quads train for Boston (thanks @runhip). I’m not changing much in my running this cycle because my anxiety can’t handle a change in schedule at the moment. I’ll peak around 55 miles, same as MCM, and this contraption is going to help get me there.
