The time I raced man without dog ... and won 😉
I'm a huge believer in that your biggest competitor is the reflection that stares back at you in the mirror and I compete with myself daily to become a better version of me.
But every so often, there is a need for the competitive side to come out.
Today was one of those days. This guy is a total muppet, really rude and just doesn't come across as a very nice so despite my 4 million attempts at saying hello and not getting even the mildest acknowledgement. So, I decided to say hi in a different way. Rav style. 😇
He was running a little bit ahead of me this morning when I set off so I couldn't help but get a little faster.... and then I did the thing that most runners hate.... I overtook him .... on a hill 😜 It doesn't matter how uncompetitive you are, it's still annoying to be over taken ... especially when it's by a hobbit sized girl. The competitive side of me felt rather good #pocketrocket 🚀
Back to running my own race against me tomorrow but it's ok to get a little competitive sometimes right? 😉
An uneventful morning in #murdersville otherwise: man with dog was back out whizzing through like a mini tornado ... seriously the guy is like a machine! He's on runstreak number 908 today ... the mind can't quite compute that even now! How I got these two confused in the dark is beyond me - major inspiration Vs major dipstick 😂
Anyway have a fab day lovelies x x x
