After a long day, I caught myself dreading the run I planned to tackle after putting Ellie to bed.
I got on the treadmill and immediately felt relief! My knee still has its moments, but I’ve come such a long way! 😊
I was able to run not only my planned 4 miles, but ended up pushing to 4.6 miles! AND, I was able to run without stopping. I haven’t been able to do that in over a month! Today’s a good day! 🤗🎉
I’m completely late to the Game of Thrones party but @chad_operation_fit and I have been binge watching together to catch up. Long lunch meant I was able to get some fresh air and sneak in a bit more distance + elevation gain 👍 Balmy 30 degrees C out there but the view of the city from the top was worth it 🏃💦 Hurry up weekend 😃

I got to run with my favorite pup @mileswithmaverick and his awesome human @aliwoodman and it was the best day! And with that, a bid adieu to my streak. It was great while it lasted but it was getting to be too much. I want to get the joy for long distances back and because of that, I have to let go of something I had everyday for so long. #runstreak day 58!! Today has been one of those days haha. My littlest still isn’t feeling well and my son was home again sick from school. I did my #fitnessblender workout this morning and my run when my husband got home from work and the kids were all nestled in beds !! My youngest, Sparrow, was so excited we found vegan creamy tomato soup at the store today! Haha she’s too cute not to share. The fitness blender workout I’m doing now is called #fbblend, it’s two weeks long and I’ve done it several times I love it so so much! I found the one I’m going to do next which is great for runners! I can’t wait to start it !! Oh! And today I did three different variations of deadlifts and used 15lbs in each hand, I’m working my way up! I hope everyone had a great day today! 🤗❤️🤗

#throwback to September when Lenka and I finished the Mount Robson half marathon, both in the top 7 overall 💪 I was in shock and teary-eyed in this moment. I’m so grateful for this amazing human’s support. That was the first time we’d run together and it felt like we were twins separated at birth - we were both comfortable at the same pace and ran 98% of the race side by side (that never happens). Bring on the Robson Ultra in 2018!!
