Coaching in a nutshell: working on my best self while helping others to do the same
For a long time I watched from the sidelines as I tried and failed to build my own thing from scratch - all the while other people were killing it at online coaching. I thought that my fancy education and certifications made me too good for all that noise
The upside of failure is it humbles you. When I was presented with this opportunity I was able to suspend my judgement and keep an open mind. What I got in return was the opportunity of a lifetime to run a thriving business, connect with a beautiful tribe of mentors and partners, give my health, fitness and personal development the attention they deserve and help other women to do the same. I would not be the person standing here today if it weren’t for coaching. She never would have happened, I guarantee it
If I am speaking your language, let’s connect. My team is growing and we would love to have you. The worst thing that happens is you get in the best shape of your life. The best thing that happens... well the sky is the limit there.
I get asked (& told) all the time why I don't deal with anyone, including family. It's simple, I choose not to because it took me so damn long to accept what is, is, and what wasn't meant for me wasn't. It's exhausting having to gauge someone if they're in a good or bad mood. It's exhausting having to listen to someone be so nice to a person's face and talk shit about them as soon as they walk away.
Your vibe and negativity will NOT bring me Down because I have worked so hard to be at peace with myself. If that seems harsh, I'm sorry. I'm willing to be at peace and tell you the truth rather than have a war within me to comfort you. I will always choose being selfish by putting myself first before I put someone else ahead of me. Simply because I can't help you and be my best self if I am not ok with myself first. I can't pour from an empty cup and I learned that the hard way. If you understand my perspective, wonderful! If not, I'd love to help you understand 😊

A couple of my first check-in photos from January vs. today. 🔹Physically: a 20 pound difference, lifting heavier things, performing unassisted pull-ups for the first time in my life. 🔹Physically, but unseen: spending the last 4 months tracking all of my food everyday, getting my cardio in when it was inconvenient, fighting through feeling weak to hit my programmed lifts. 🔹Mentally: Done giving a shit about what people think of what I'm doing, committed to doing the things that make me feel good, confident in my self-efficacy, unafraid to show up powerfully.
They say where the mind goes the body follows, bur sometimes you have to perform yourself into a new way of thinking.
Here’s my smoothie bowl with the new ingredient!!
It’s orange and is a vegetable!!!!!
Did you guess ‘a sweet potato 🍠‘
This is such a great addition to any smoothie bowl. I brought mine already cooked and frozen from tescos. It adds a thick and creamy texture without being too sweet.
Sweet potatoes 🍠 are high in vitamins D, C, B6, iron, magnesium and potassium.
Ive started adding vegetables to my smoothie bowls lately as my tummy can get funny with too much fruit. Plus I find fruit does tend to spike my sugar levels.
Sweet Potato 🍠 Chocolate 🍫 Smoothie Bowl
1 scoop chocolate protein, 150ml almond milk, 80g frozen sweet potato 🍠, 80g frozen banana, 1tbsp cacao powder and a few ice cubes. Blend until smooth, then topped with chia seeds and cacao nibs.
Definitely been feeling really unmotivated lately with my workouts, life etc. Sometimes you’re going to feel like this and it’s okay! It’s completely normal to feel lost sometimes. Killing my workout tonight definitely boosted my spirits☺️🙌🏻
Okay guys, it’s time to pause all the fun travel stuff for a second and talk about fitness and body image. .
I was originally hesitant to post this picture because, while I felt strong, I didn’t look my “skinniest” that I had been in the past few months. I even started telling myself that I shouldn’t have taken the vacation around Europe because of it. A few days later though, I realized that I was so thin because I WASN’T HAPPY. I’m gonna be honest: study abroad hasn’t been a walk in the park, and up until a month ago, I’ve been working out too much and not eating enough because it was all I knew that was familiar to me. However, now that’s all changed: I’ve found a wonderful guy who cares about me and a solid friend group over in London that I visit every weekend.
So yeah, I have been eating and drinking a bit more and working out a bit less, but that’s perfectly fine. It’s OKAY to be a few pounds heavier if that means you’re happy!! And besides, you have to eat and nourish your body to make healthy gains!! Moral of the story: the next time you find yourself bashing your body, remember that there is more to life than a number on the scale! #bodypositive#bodypositivity#strongwomen#strongnotskinny#healthateverysize#fitness#fitnessjourney#fitnessmotivation#loveyourself
