Extraordinary experience begins from right after the reception. Stylish and exotic space spreads on the 39th floor.

Ever walk into a café or restaurant and think “I WANT TO LIVE HERE?” That’s how I felt here 😆🍍😍 @nagopineapplepark #Okinawa
Hey guys, thanks for all the messages and for checking in! That was the strongest earthquake I've experienced in Japan yet. It was really scary but everything's fine and I now know what to expect if we have any big aftershocks. Kansai people: make sure to have an emergency bag with supplies ready just in case and to know where your closest evacuation center is! 🏥 There was a pretty deadly aftershock in Kumamoto after their initial earthquake a few years back so it's a good idea to be prepared. 🙌
Unknown skater ollies the seven-set at the now-demolished Miyashita Koen skate park in Shibuya, Tokyo. I don’t post much skateboard related stuff here but it was actually a huge part of my life growing up in England, I was out skating every weekend for the best part of a decade, I literally lived for it! I still have a lot of love for the art. A string of injuries forced me to eventually give up in my twenties though.
Then I moved to Japan, where I met @davefizza who persuaded me to buy a board and start rolling again. I spent a very fun few months down at this park when it first opened both skating and photographing. Then one day I fractured my leg there and that was the end of that! This was back in 2011.
During those months I managed to take a decent amount of photos, some of which I’ll be sharing here over the next few days...
