We are so thrilled with how this incredible art piece is turning out! It is still drying in the molds, but we know it will be even more spectacular once we are able to take each piece out of the molds and have the entire piece framed. SO many community members have come together to make this collaborative mural a reality! In partnership with Cannon Beach Arts Association, for this years 12 Days of Earth Day celebration, our organizations aimed to create a unique piece of marine debris art made of many individual collective pieces. With the creative vision of artist Joe Adams, we detailed a 24 piece mural. Individuals and teams made each 12”x12” square, which when all brought together create a picture of a whale! We will be displaying this piece in its unfinished form tomorrow evening at the 12 Days potluck and hope to get it framed and presented to the City of Cannon Beach in the next few months. Thank you to all who have participated! What a beautiful, inclusive and inspirational piece that speaks volumes about marine pollution issues AND that reflects what a community can create when working together. 💙💙💙 #hrap#cbaa#maribedebrisart#marinedebris#plasticpollution#earthday#cannonbeach#art#mural#communityart#whale
Apparently this has been Florida stout week... I swear I drink other styles, too... and beer from not Florida... Best stout state in the US. Do you agree?
Cycle Joyous Almond is an Imperial Sweet Stout with Toasted Almonds and Coconut aged in those delicious Cycle Bourbon barrels. It takes like a boozy Almond Joy... but I’m definitely not complaining.
