🍵 Roasted Poblano Pepper Soup! 🌧☔️ As the chilly wind rips through the trees & the rain pelts their leaves like a percussion assembly of the most disorganized rhythmic
nature, I decided it was time to make some comfort food. So, with my trusted sous chef Otter 🐾 by my side, we carefully
roasted up the deep green poblano peppers, sliced up onions, cilantro, garlic, potatoes & grated an aged blend of white
cheddar & Gruyere cheese into a big pot of homemade turkey, garlic & cumin broth, with a dash of smoked paprika for greater depth in flavor. Topped with a bit of thick-cut bacon, slow cooked with fresh thyme, garlic, rosemary & black pepper,
tossed on top to complete the deep, earthy flavors of this yummy bowl of bliss.
Serving it up for lunch today with toasted rosemary herbed flat bread. 🤗 Soooo, what are some of your favorite comfort foods…? • •

👅 1st time visiting 🦀 station in #Carrollton - the #rawoysters were the highlight of the meal. Crab Station’s “mild garlic and butter” is ACTUALLY mild unlike some other crawfish joints, so if you’re looking for a little kick, turn it up a notch to the next level!

It’s been an incredible project to be a part of, with so many wonderful people! ❄️❄️Squeezed in some extra #Hygge and Nordic food at the @greatnorthernfood hall in Grand Central. The roast pork sandwich from @meyersbagerinyc had so many wonderful flavors and textures on fresh baked ciabatta. Time to go celebrate!
