📖 #kateoneweekbook , книга 32 . Ли Бардуго "Шестерка Воронов" . Есть книги, которые откровенно недооценивают, есть переоцененные, есть те, которые хороши ровно настолько, насколько о них говорят, а еще есть такие, шумиха вокруг которых не то чтобы была излишне преувеличена, но все же лучше бы её было поменьше. Собственно, именно это я могу сказать про Шестерку . Кеттердам - суматошный и бурлящий портовый город, где в равной степени процветают международная торговля и преступность. На его улицах можно найти себя, а можно и потерять все, что у тебя было. Это и произошло с Казом Бреккером, мальчиком без прошлого, известного всем, как "Грязные Руки". Но тайны его прошлого известны только ему, спрятаны глубоко и надёжно, как и его руки, которые никогда не показываются из чёрных кожаных перчаток. Сейчас ему семнадцать лет и он, по сути, возглавляет одну из крупнейших банд города . Что может быть лучше для преступника, чем интересное и, казалось бы, невозможное дело, за которое тебе ещё и хорошенько заплатят? Только если тебе заплатят очень хорошо! . В целом, книга напоминает "Джекаби" и серию "Адские Механизмы", эдакий полу-исторический (в выдуманное, по большей части, время), полу-фантастическо/мистический приключенческий роман с неожиданными сюжетными поворотами. Безумно атмосферно . Но если "Джекаби" я буквально проглотила часа за четыре, а после "Адских Механизмов" ещё пару недель ходила и страдала, что нет продолжения, то тут и с чтением промучилась три дня и в сюжет не затянуло.
